Fun Day Monday

Well hello! I feel like it’s been some time since I’ve shared some fun with you all…. I do hope that you are well.

We are back to our fun ways here in my childminding service and this week coming is no exception! As it’s Burns’ Night this Friday we are going to be doing lots of fun Scottish themed activities.

I thought I’d show the children my husband’s kilt (not with him in it!) and that we’d look at the tartan pattern before making our own paper collage kilts like the ones on the blog called Domestic Goddesque

We’re  also going to get splattering with some paint and make our own haggis like these which are also featured on Domestic Goddesque

We shall be sharing  a few Scottish books including the Scottish version of one of our playroom favourites, The Gruffalo, and we may even attempt some haggis, neeps and tatties for lunch!

Are you doing anything to celebrate Burns’ Night? I’d love to hear what activities you are doing with your little one.
