What’s On Wednesday

Hiya! I’ve got a number of different dates for you to put in the diary today! There are lots of free activities for you and your little one to get involved with at the moment!

Firstly, this Saturday (3rd August) it’s Pollok Family Fun Day at Pollok Park. This is a free event held in the park from 10am to 4pm….. get down there, it’s lots of fun!

If you’re at a loose end on Sunday (4th August) then why not go to the Tramway Family Day: Albert Drive? From 12 noon to 4pm there will be lots going on all focusing on getting to know your neighbours on Albert Drive. For more information go to the Tramway website. This is a free event.

Finally, why not get involved with Playday 2013 on Wednesday 7th August. There are quite a few things going on across Glasgow and the surrounding areas but the event that grabbed my attention is one called Playful Places which is taking place at the Glasshouse at Queen’s Park from 12pm to 3pm. Activities will include Den building, Arts and Crafts, Animal Man, Commonwealth Games and much more!! All pre-5 children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information you can telephone 0141 2761330 or you can visit the Playday 2013 website here. This is a free event.
