What’s On Wednesday

Hello! It’s been a while hasn’t it?! Sorry for my absence… blame my lack of technical skills! The blog programme updated…. and I didn’t! Anyway, thanks to the lovely Marceline Smith www.marcelinesmith.com all is back on track and I can reach out to you once more!

Seeing as it’s Wednesday let’s start off with a “What’s On Wednesday” post……………………………….

If you are looking for something to do this Saturday then why not head along to Glasgow Museum Resource Centre for some Creepy Crawlie fun or to the Burrell for some Chinese New Year Dragon making.

Wee Beasties at the Glasgow Museum Resource Centre  

“A fun hands-on adventure exploring our wonderful creepy crawlies. Watch out for that hungry caterpillar!”

This is an activity for Pre-5s and is on from 11am – 12 noon or from 2pm to 3pm on Saturday 8th February. This is a free activity but please call 0141 2769300 to book a space.

Burrell for Families – Dragon Makers at the Burrell Collection

“Celebrate the Chinese New Year and make your own Dragon”.

This is a free activity that is on from 2pm to 4pm.

What’s On Wednesday

If you and your little one (pre-5) are free on Wednesday 4th December from 2pm to 4pm then why not pop along to the Burrell Collection to participate in their Wee Wednesday. This month they are making Christmas decorations.

As with all Wee Wednesdays this is a free event and is drop in so no ticket is required. You are reminded to be prepared to get messy!!

What’s On Wednesday

Today’s “What’s On Wednesday” post is more for your little one and their grandparents to do together.

Glasgow Museums are hosting an event called, “A Grand Day Out” on the first Saturday of each month which is specifically aimed at Grandparents and their Grandchildren to help them get creative and explore the museums’ collections.

The next “Grand Day Out”  is on Saturday 2nd March from 10am to 5pm at The Burrell Collection. This event is free and is drop in so no booking is required but if you want further information you can contact The Burrell Collection on: 0141 287 2550.
